TelluBase—by Tellusant—is the world’s only complete database for income distribution, consumer class sizes, and other information at the sub-national level.
The Tellubase income distribuion database gives companies granular data beyond what they are used to. It is completely exhaustive and covers:
from 2000 till 2050.
For each of the entities, we provide:
The map below shows the 2,600 cities and the 2,500 primary subdivisions. We also covers 25,000 secondary subdivisions such as municipios in Mexico, LGAs in Nigeria, districts in India, and PLCs in China (and a dozen more countries).
Therefore, companies can create geographic entities that fit their organizations by summing up the detailed data to manageable units.

The first version of global income distributions was developed in 1992 when our chairman, Dr. Canback, researched and analyzed such data to predict what the world would look like in 2027.
We now provide the TelluBase income distribution database with an intuitive interface.
In 2019, National Geographic’s flagship Atlas of the World featured a version of Dr. Canback’s pioneering effort in a two-page spread. Above all, this shows the respect authoritative publications have for the data.
Our chairman Dr. Canback describes some of the uses of subnational data in this academic article: Where in the World Is the Market?
Six use cases are available here. They show how income distribution can be used in any industry and for a multitude of applications. Beyond this, there are more than 150 academic, corporate, and research citations for the data.
TelluBase is also a component within PoluSim, our strategic forecasting solution, and within PACE, or latent demand estimator. Users get a consistent experience because of the deep integration.
